The Casting of Frank Stone, the upcoming narrative horror game set in the Dead By Daylight universe from Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games, has its first gameplay trailer. The game was first announced during The game Awards 2023.
The story takes place in 1980 in the town of Cedar Hills, a town marked by the murderer Frank Stone. It stars four friends who decide to create a horror film set in an abandoned steel mill nicknamed Murder Mill. Naturally, this turns out as horribly as one could imagine, and players must survive by making choices that decide the characters’ relationships and fates. Sudden and rapid events can also be the deciding factor between a person’s life or death.
Similar to previous Supermassive titles like The Quarry and Dark Pictures Anthology, The Casting of Frank Stone can take multiple paths depending on your choices. Players will also solve environmental puzzles and piece together clues to learn more about Cedar Hills.
The Cast of Frank Stone still doesn’t have a release date, but it will launch later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox series X/S, and PC.
