Spotify is no stranger to releasing fun, shareable features that break the internet. At the end of each year, the platform gathers your listening statistics and details exactly the most played songs and artists. Spotify wrapped. In recent years, they’ve also added additional features that reveal everything from your Spotify Sound Town to your movie soundtrack.

Now, Spotify is upping the ante with a brand new feature called Song Psychic. But what is it and how to access it?

Spotify Song Psychic answers all your questions with a song. The feature offers you nine different categories of questions: school, friends and family, love, big mysteries of life, my future, myself, style and lunch.

Once you’ve chosen a category, you can select one of the prompts or start typing your own question and a similar question option should appear.

• Research Psychic song in your Spotify app and click on it
• Choose one of nine categories
• Start typing a question and submit one of the suggested questions
• Tap the screen to generate the response
• A song answering the question appears

You can then share your answer directly on social media or keep it to yourself.

How accurate is Spotify Song Psychic?

Unfortunately, Spotify can’t actually predict the future, so it’s worth taking any answers you get with a pinch of salt. Before the app reveals your song’s answer, it warns you: “Remember, spirits are unreliable: don’t take them seriously.”
