Arrowhead game Studios released a small but important Helldiverse 2 fix to improve game stability connection issues.

Patch 01.000.006 was rolled out to PC and PlayStation 5 today (February 14) and is in direct response to the ongoing series of reports from players regarding server connectivity issues and matchmaking bugs.

The multiplayer shooter, which launched last week on February 8, recently received a patch for PC and console with a similar goal to address performance, server, and connection issues. However, Arrowhead was forced to restore the PC version because players were “experiencing significant degradation in its performance.”

It appears that the latest patch has combatted this issue by addressing disconnection and stability issues – with the studio explaining that it has improved backend activity to reduce the risk of disconnections during missions. It also implemented a “release for upcoming server linking improvements” which will likely be added with a later patch.

Additionally, some online players experienced a problem bug that would crash their game if they have too many friends, but this was luckily fixed with the latest patch, along with other crashes related to logging out during the login cutscene.
