How to get Meowmere in Stardew Valley

We all love a good secret Easter egg in games, especially Valley of Stars, which is absolutely full of them. We were already excited about all the new content in Update 1.6, but there was one item included that was never even revealed. The Meowmere is a super secret new sword that pays a nice little homage to Terrariums. The complex sequence of events you must perform to obtain it is reminiscent of that classic crafting game. The Meowmere is intentionally difficult to obtain, but you can save a lot of time by following these steps.

The Meowmere is not a sword in which you will be able to get a new save file. Valley of Stars since you must have explored up to level 100 in the mines.

Step 1: If you don’t have an antique doll, this step will take the longest. This item has one of the lowest drop rates in the game and can only be found by digging up artifact locations in the Mountain, Bus Stop, Cindersnap Forest, or Pelican Town.

2nd step: Once you have a doll ready, take it back to mine level 100 and find a lava pool.

Step 3: Sacrifice the doll by throwing it into the lava to trigger a small cutscene which ends with you obtaining a distant stone.

Step 4: Take the Far Stone to the Wizard Tower and place it in the basement near a pylon of Terrariums. Once placed, a portal will open and a friendly kitten will deliver your new Meowmere sword.
