A new Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes The clip shows villain Proximus Caesar (Kevin Durand) manipulating the legacy of the original Caesar (Andy Serkis). The latest installment in the franchise takes place 300 years after the death of Caesar. War for the Planet of the Apes and will explore the impact of his legacy. While the first Caesar wanted to free and unite the apes and believed they could coexist with humans, Proximus Caesar wants to control the apes and have them drive out humans. In particular, the marketing showed Proximus Caesar’s minions hunting a human girl named Mae (Freya Allan).

Planet of the Apes 4 will establish a new main antagonist whose main objective shares something in common with one of the core rules of Caesar’s Apes.
