Benoit Blanc’s next film, titled Wake Up Dead Man: A knife-edge mystery, defines its first actors. After the brilliance Knives out in 2019 and its sequel on Netflix in 2022, writer-director Rian Johnson will return with a third film around Daniel Craig’s eccentric detective, currently scheduled for release on Netflix in 2025.
First reported by What’s on Netflix and later confirmed by Deadline, At Knives Out 3 found its first new actors. Josh O’Connor (Challengers) and Cailee Spaeny (Civil war) were exploited lead the new ensemble; their characters are currently being kept secret. Production is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
