Fans of survival horror games are absolutely in for some very juicy reveals during Summer Gaming Festival 2024 including some new details about the upcoming horror game Head cut off and the announcement of the first piece of new expansion content for the superb Alan wakes up 2.
THE Nocturnal springs The expansion will include three episodes, each focused on alternate versions of characters from Alan wakes up 2 or other titles from developer Remedy Entertainment. This includes the arrival of Jesse Faden, the protagonist of Controlwho we see fighting dark creatures in a twisted version of Bright Falls.
Best of all, you won’t need to wait very long for the expansion since it will be available tomorrow (June 8, 2024). It is included as part of the Alan wakes up 2 deluxe edition or the Luxury upgrade if you already own the base game. The arrival of the expansion comes with the announcement of new physical editions of both the standard and deluxe versions of the game, which is fantastic news for collectors keen to get their hands on a tangible version of the previously only version digital.
We were big fans of the base game in our Alan wakes up 2 reviews upon its release in October last year, calling it a “once-in-a-generation spook-fest” and praising its beautiful art direction and thought-provoking story.
