Money is one of the most important resources you can find Hades 2. Unlike most other items that drop after clearing a room, this precious metal must be mined from deposits around the map, which raises the question of how to collect it. You might come across a glowing stone with the message “Collect?” » prompt, only to be informed that you can’t recover it without a special tool. This tool is none other than the Crescent Pick, but unlocking it is a bit obscure. It won’t take you many races to get what you need, so just follow our lead so you can start collecting money to craft new weapons.

Silver deposits will appear in the environment as you go through the randomly generated rooms, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for those shiny silver rocks. To gather this lovely material, you must first unlock and acquire the Crescent Pick, which takes place in two stages.
First, you need to be at the crossroads and interact with the large cauldron to see the incantations. The third option on the list is Night’s Craftwork, which you will see is a gathering tool that allows you to harvest ore. It only costs 1 Moly, so you should be able to unlock it right away.
However, unlocking it via Incantations doesn’t instantly give you a choice. You then need to go to the Silver Pool and find the new Gathering Tools section. Now the Crescent Pick, along with a few other tools, will be available to unlock Ash. The Crescent Pick only costs 1 Ash, so equip it and begin your next run in search of silver deposits to mine.
Each stone gives you a few silver coins, so you don’t need to find a ton of them to unlock every weapon in the game.
