Lady Gaga Sparks Taylor Swift Collaboration Theory in Response to Pregnancy Rumors

Fans are now hoping for a Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift collaboration after she shut down pregnancy rumors with a TTPD reference that Taylor commented on.

Less than 24 hours after rumors began that she was pregnant, Lady Gaga silenced them with an iconic return to TikTok.

Lady Gaga is one of many female celebrities whose possibility of pregnancy has become a topic of discussion online. We’ve seen it happen to Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift and recently Hailey Bieber – although it turned out to be true.

But in Gaga’s case, that wasn’t the case. Some of her fans immediately announced it, taking to the internet to refute all the claims and now, the “Shallow” singer has addressed it herself.

However, her response sparked a whole new rumor… fans are now hoping she’s teasing a collaboration with “The Tortured Poets Department” artist Miss Taylor Swift.

Gaga posted a video on TikTok with text that read: “not pregnant, just crying at the gym.”

And of course, it’s a clear reference to Taylor’s TTPD track “down bad” when she sings, Now I’m depressed crying at the gym / It all comes out of teenage petulance.

Immediately, her comments started flooding Taylor X Gaga theories. “GAGA AND TAY COLLABORATION!???” one excited fan wrote, another wrote: “I love you and Taylor reference oh my god please collaborate.”

There were a lot of people commenting on Gaga and Taylor in all caps with lots of!!! And ???.

Lady Gaga shuts down pregnancy rumors

Of course, being the queen that she is, Gaga used the publicity from the pregnancy rumor as a platform to encourage people to vote.

Voting is something she has been openly passionate about for years. In 2020, during the presidential election, she made a video recreating all of her iconic looks over the years with an important message encouraging Americans to use their vote.

In the video stating that she is not pregnant, she added, “register to vote at headcount.org,” which she also linked to in the caption.

Head Count is an organization that aims to get more people involved in democracy. She uses the power of pop culture and music to convey her message.

Later that day, Miss Swift herself commented on the post, saying: “Can we all agree that it is invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body. Gaga owes no one an explanation and no woman either.”

Even though there is no Taylor feature on LG7, we have to admit that Taylor and Gaga have set the greatest example for women and girls in the 21st century, so fans call “mother” because they are truly there to protect the next generation.
