Tom Holland joined the MCU as Spider-Man in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, and has since become one of the MCU’s most important superheroes.

Which Marvel Characters Leonardo DiCaprio Would Be Perfect To Play

Even though DiCaprio has said he’s not interested in joining the superhero landscape, that could still change. Interestingly enough, DiCaprio could still theoretically be a good choice as an older Spider-Man, given the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ongoing multiverse saga.

It would be really fascinating to see if Tom Holland’s Spider-Man would encounter another version of himself again, especially after the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Having DiCaprio’s old Spider-Man meet Holland’s iteration could be the light the MCU’s Peter needs right now, as he’s all alone after Spider-Man: No Way Home, while the whole world no longer knows who Peter is. Meeting an older Spider-Man who was able to live a normal life while still being a superhero could be a fascinating story worth exploring for Holland.

Although the chances are slim that DiCaprio will ever do a superhero gig, if circumstances permit, he might agree to do so. It would probably only be a one-time thing, but even that would still be fascinating to see it come to fruition. But until that happens, the world can relive all the Spider Man movies on Blu-Ray/DVD and streaming.
