Who is on the confirmed guest list for the 2024 Met Gala? Here’s everyone who was invited, present, and all the rumors explained.

The 2024 Met Gala is fast approaching, and speculation about who might attend is starting to intensify.

A Instagram post featuring a purported list of “confirmed Met Gala guests” began circulating on social media, including Taylor Swift, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Pedro Pascal, Zendaya and Tom Holland.

While some of these names are already 100% confirmed (Zendaya is one of the co-chairs), others might be unlikely. Tom, for example, is likely to take part in intense final rehearsals for his upcoming West End play before the first performance on May 11. Olivia Rodrigo also performs in Glasgow the day after the Met Gala. Jared Leto, who appears on the viral list, also confirmed that he would not be present.

The Taylor’s Eras Tour also resumes in Paris on May 9, and that’s reported that she will skip the event to rehearse for the show.

So, who will be at the 2024 Met Gala? Here’s the full list of guests confirmed so far.

Who are the Met Gala co-chairs?

Each year, Anna Wintour selects a group of celebrity co-chairs who will help host the event that evening. For the 2024 Met Gala, these co-chairs are:

• Zendaya
• Jennifer Lopez
• Chris Hemsworth
• Bad bunny

Ben Affleck will likely attend alongside Jennifer Lopez, and Elsa Pataky will likely join Chris Hemsworth on the red carpet. As mentioned above, a Tom Holland appearance might be unlikely.

Who are the confirmed guests for the 2024 Met Gala?

So far, very few names have already been confirmed ahead of the event. Confirmations about who will be attending start pouring in on the day of the event, as celebrities and designers start sharing sneak peeks of the looks and their muses on social media.

Queen of the Met Gala herself, Rihanna, confirmed his presence. Talk to Additionalteased Rihanna, “I’m actually keeping it really simple this year… Very simple… I think it will depend on what my makeup is going to be like and what my hair is going to do. We want to play with that, but I have no idea what I’m going to do with this.”

Describing her two possible fashion options, Rihanna said: “Very simple…compared to anything I’ve ever done. I’m showing up for dinner! Shout out to Anna Wintour.”

Kelsea Ballerini also announced on social networks that she would walk the carpet. Will her boyfriend Chase Stokes join her too?

Kim Kardashian, Blake Lively And Kylie Jenner have all teased these appearances at the event as well.

Many rumors are already circulating about who could be present… Beyoncé could be there, but for those hoping to see Blue Ivy, she is unfortunately too young to attend.

In an interview with PEOPLESydney Sweeney teased that she had been invited, but wasn’t sure if she could come due to work commitments.

Reports of Taylor Russell being tweaked for her look at the Met Gala in London were also recently shared on social media.

While there has been no official confirmation, Met Gala staples like Sarah Jessica Parker, Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner, Hailey Bieber and more will likely be in attendance as well.
