The Pope’s Exorcist 2 is now officially confirmed, a producer reveals in a new update. Released in 2023, The Pope’s Exorcist stars Russell Crowe as Father Gabriel Amorth, one of the Vatican’s top exorcists who uncovers a dark conspiracy while trying to save a possessed child. The film, directed by Julius Avery, received somewhat mixed reviews but was a hit with audiences and it was revealed earlier this year that a sequel was in development.
Producer Jeff Katz now reveals that The Pope’s Exorcist 2 is officially confirmed have the green light for production. While it’s unclear when the film will actually begin filming or when it could potentially be released, the producer is visibly excited about the news. Check out Katz’s tweet below:
