Warhaven Online Services will be shut down in April, less than 7 months after Early Access launched.

Nexon ends online services for its free-to-play fantasy PvP game Haven of warjust a few months after its early access launch on Steam.

Haven of war entered Early Access in late September 2023, allowing players to team up and step into the shoes of a variety of unique soldiers, taking on enemies in fast-paced combat across a variety of maps. Reception on Steam hasn’t been fantastic – based on almost 6,900 reviews, Haven of war has a “Mixed” user rating, although it’s clear when scrolling through them that it still has its fans.

“Today we are here to announce with heavy hearts that we will be terminating the live services of Haven of war“, wrote Nexon in a news article on Steam. “From the first alpha test in 2021 to global early access in 2023, Haven of war has come this far, thanks to everyone’s love and support. We would like to express our gratitude for the love and care you have shown. Haven of war.

“To create a game that can be enjoyed and enjoyed over a long period of time, we have invested a lot of consideration and effort. However, we unfortunately have to say our sincere goodbyes as of April 5, 2024,” he continues. “We apologize for not being able to bring you better news.”

Rounding out the statement, Nexon acknowledged “all the shortcomings” but thanked fans for their support thus far. “We will deeply cherish the warm affection and support you have sent to Haven of war in our hearts,” he adds.

Earlier this week it was announced that the mobile Deny game, Deny Reincarnation, will close on April 29, almost three years after its global launch. Its final story chapter will be released a month before the shutdown and will end the current story arc, People and the World.
