Every week, new coverage of AI goes viral on the Internet. Thanks to the latest AI technology, people are able to generate covers of songs that sound almost exactly like those sung by other famous singers. While some artists like Grimes have fully embraced this trend, many artists are skeptical and worried about what this means for the future of music in general.

Many of these viral AI covers attempt to imitate Ariana Grande’s voice and there has also been a recent trend of leaked Ariana songs like “Fantasize” going viral on TikTok. Now, Ariana has called out IA’s cover and the people who leaked her songs.

As for her viral leak “Fantasize,” Ariana admitted that she didn’t even write it for herself. She said, “It wasn’t my song. It wasn’t for Me. It was like a parody of a 90s girl group. But [the fans] they loved it, they loved it SO a lot. It’s so cheesy, but it’s okay.”

However, for any fans hoping to see Ariana release “Fantasize” on streaming, there will be a “version” of it on her new album. Eternal sun. Ariana explained, “I took the note and I kind of gave them Ariana’s version on the album. I would say it exists. So some of those seed ideas from that era made their way onto the album.”

She finished by saying, “But they’re completely different now. So even though you heard them – because you stole them – they’re very different now.”
