Marvel Studios’ Next Big Superhero Team Has Been Depicted In A Striking New Style Marvel Cinematic Universe art, bringing together nine of Marvel’s darkest heroes as the Midnight Sons. Marvel has yet to confirm the development of a dedicated Midnight Sons project, but several supernatural heroes have recently been introduced to live-action, sparking speculation that the team will form soon.

While the MCU’s potential Midnight Sons roster has yet to be revealed, a number of exciting heroes and antiheroes have been suggested for the much-sought-after team. A series of eye-catching fan-made posters shared by AGTDesign imagine nine powerful Marvel heroes coming together as the Midnight Sons. This includes heroes already existing in the MCU timeline, joined by highly anticipated characters set to debut soon, and even a surprising anti-hero from another Marvel franchise.

Upcoming Marvel Studios Blade The film is the most likely place for the Midnight Sons to finally be teased, as Blade is a prominent member of the Marvel Comics team. However, another fan-favorite MCU hero may already be piecing together his own version of the team.

Wong could already be building the MCU’s Midnight Sons

After becoming the Sorcerer Supreme for Avengers: Endgame Five year blip, Wong has been given a more central role in the MCU’s multiverse saga. Wong has made appearances in more Phase 4 projects than any other hero in the MCU, bringing him into contact with some of the franchise’s newer heroes, such as Shang-Chi and She-Hulk. This has sparked speculation that Wong could build his own superhero team, and while that could lead to him becoming the leader of the New Avengers, he could also form his own version of something like the Midnight Sons.

Although the team Wong appears to have formed is very different from the Midnight Sons in Marvel Comics, this group has always focused on supernatural, mystical, or magical characters. Most notably, Wong fought the Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswho would be a huge asset to the Midnight Sons in their inevitable return to the MCU. Multiverse of Madness also saw Wong take multiversal traveler America Chavez under his wingand his training in the Mystic Arts could earn him a place on his team.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings saw Wong introduce himself to Shang-Chi and Katy, whose mastery of the Ten Rings and newfound archery skills (respectively) would make them eager members of Wong’s Midnight Sons. The wild card of this fledgling team is Emil Blonsky’s Abomination, who found refuge in Kamar-Taj after She-Hulk: lawyer. Although he has no mystical connection, Abomination could play the role of Hulk on Wong’s team, although it is still hoped that the former villain will join the Thunderbolts, leaving the true formation of the team . MCU Midnight Sons is a mystery.
