Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorMerrin looks intimidatingly powerful in a stunning new Star Wars cosplay. In the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game, and its predecessor, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Merrin is portrayed as a bossy, cunning, and wise Dathomirian Nightsister. As one of the last of her species, Merrin’s Nightsister’s magic is a unique power in the galaxy, but it’s not the only thing that makes her powerful. Merrin is also a talented fighter, which makes her and Star Wars Jedi‘s main Jedi protagonist, Cal Kestis, is a perfect fit, both “professionally” and personally.

Cosplayer Christmas effortlessly captured Merrin’s intimidating physical presence. Their cosplay, designed by an independent illustrator Jake Bartok and photographed by Tobias Ohligis an excellent interpretation of the character of Merrin, her usual Dathomirian Nightsister costume worn in Fallen order, and its impressive potential.

Of course, it’s hard to miss that this particular version of Merrin carries a green-bladed lightsaber, representative of the color of her Nightsister magic, which is the same brilliant shade of green. Although Merrin does not normally possess a lightsaber, her close association with Cal and her Jedi mentor, Cere Junda, means that she certainly knows how to wield one.

Will Merrin ever wield her own lightsaber?

Merrin in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Although a third Star Wars Jedi a game would be in preparation, which will continue the story of Merrin (and Cal), Merrin’s future may very well lie beyond the confines of the Jedi Games. Cal is noticeably absent from almost all of the stories surrounding the events of the original. Star Wars trilogy. As such, there’s a good chance Cal won’t be around much longer, as tragic as that may be. He risked his life for years and Merrin was always at his side. Against all odds, they fell in love and now hope to help people escape the Empire and survive.

If Cal meets a tragic end, it’s possible that Merrin will continue to brandish his lightsaber, carrying it as a memento of their time together. Although Cal’s lightsaber (probably) canonically has a blue blade, it would still be incredibly significant. Many lightsabers have been used by those not as well connected to the Force, but since Nightsister Magick is simply a different use of the Force, Merrin may well become extremely proficient with the Jedi’s weapon. Now that the Nightsisters have returned to the galaxy in Ahsoka season 1, Merrin could make an appearance in Star Wars After Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
