Will Bad Boys 5 happen?

As of yet, there has been no confirmation or indication of a fifth installment in the Bad Boys franchise. However, Martin Lawrence recently revealed that he would be very willing to return for another film, but only on the condition that his long-time partner Will Smith also returns. In truth, much of the franchise’s success rests on the duo’s chemistry, and it would make sense for the franchise to continue with both of them.

Although Lawrence’s desire to continue acting in Bad Boys bodes well for the franchise, ultimately its future would largely depend on Smith’s willingness to return and specifically Bad Boys: Ride or DieBox office performance. Over the years, the multiple installments of this buddy cop franchise have generally found enormous commercial success, collectively grossing over $840 million worldwide. there is therefore a strong precedence which suggests that this latest opus would also be successful.
