New versions of the Joker and Harley Quinn have been imagined in dark fan art ahead of their potential debuts in the reboot. DC Universe. Filmmaker James Gunn and producer Peter Safran, co-CEO of DC Studios, announced the reboot of the DCEU in the new DCU in January 2023. Gunn notably revealed many upcoming characters who are expected to appear in the new DCU, including some will make their live-action debut, but while Superman, Batman, and Supergirl will be reimagined, it’s not yet clear what the fate of two of DC Comics’ most iconic villains is.


THE Joker and Harley Quinn have not yet been confirmed to appear in the new DC Universe, although as two of Batman’s most memorable villains, it’s very likely that they will be.
