Godzilla minus one director Takashi Yamazaki offers support for Adam Wingard’s next film Monsterverse following Godzilla X Kong: The New Kingdom with a brief overview of the fellow kaiju feature. The director of Toho’s acclaimed 2023 feature film has created an episode exploring the emergence of kaiju in post-World War II Japan and its lasting effects on a traumatized fighter pilot.
