Changing your profile picture in the Gmail app on iOS and Android is pretty much the same as in the web browser. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Select the Gmail app on your Android or iOS device to open it.

2nd step: Click on the photo icon you see in the upper right corner.

Step 3: A window will appear showing either the Manage your Google Account button or the Google Account button, depending on your version of Android.

Step 4: When the following screen loads, select Personal informations.

Step 5: Find it Basic information header, then click the currently uploaded profile picture.

Step 6: A window will appear with an explanation; The message is longer on newer versions of iOS, but the process is the same. Press on Set a profile picture.

Step 7: A pop-up window (Android) or drop-down menu (iOS) appears on the screen. Go to your photo library to choose an image you’ve already saved, or click the camera to take a new photo.
