If you were as excited as we were Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth then you almost certainly played the demo before its release. This gave you a preview of the first chapter of the game where Cloud and Sephiroth are sent to Nibelheim in the flashback sequence. While great, there are a lot of slow moments here that make this section take a while, so you may want to skip it when you start the full game instead of starting all over again. Fortunately, you can, but first you have to do a little thing that isn’t very obvious.

how to skip Chapter 1 in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
As long as you have played and completed the demo for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth you can skip most of chapter 1 to save time, but also get some small in-game rewards.
Step 1: Go to the main menu.
2nd step: Select the Bonuses option.

Step 3: Here you will see which rewards you are entitled to. Simply select Check recorded data to import your demo save into the main game.
Step 4: Note that you cannot skip the entire Chapter 1 as there are some differences in the full game. As you play, you should notice an indicator at the bottom right of the screen telling you that you can move on to the new content as soon as you begin the flashback section of Nibelheim.
