iTunes is about to die on Windows as Apple launches Music, TV and Devices apps

Apple on Wednesday announced a major change for Windows users who use iTunes for Windows with an iPhone or to access Apple Music and Apple TV. For Windows 10 or later, Apple has released three new apps that the company recommends for use on iTunes for Windows:

For audiobooks and podcasts, Windows users always use the iTunes for Windows app. This application is also used if one of the new applications does not work on your PC. Apple released iTunes for Windows on October 16, 2003, with support for the iPod and the iTunes Music Store.

Apple has a support document with more information about the new apps.

Appe has released a redesigned iCloud app for Windows.

Redesigning iCloud for Windows

Apple also released a redesigned iCloud app for Windows. The new app makes it easier to see which apps are using iCloud, see how much iCloud+ storage is being used, and more.

The iCloud app for Windows can be used to access iCloud features, such as iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, iCloud Passwords, and iCloud Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks. Read the iCloud for Windows User Guide.
