Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall is in the studio working on solo music – from a release date, tracklist and collaborations to her confirmed new single ‘Angel Of My Dreams’, here’s what we know so far.
Little Mix’s hiatus began in 2022, allowing the girls to focus on their solo careers. And focus they have, with Leigh-Anne set to release her debut solo album and Perrie Edwards’ singles ‘Forget About Us’ and ‘Tears’ all eyes are on Jade Thirlwall.
Jade has been keeping her cards close to her chest since announcing in 2022 that she had signed a solo artist deal with RCA Records. A year later, in November 2023, Jade finally gave her fans a cheeky hint about what she was up to, and in June 2024, she finally announced her debut single, “Angel of My Dreams.”
So when will Jade’s single be released? Will she be working on an album? Here’s what we know…

Is Jade Thirlwall preparing an album?
Yes, Jade is working on new music. But she hasn’t confirmed exactly what she plans to release yet.
In late March 2024, Jade posted a series of photos and videos of her life on her Instagram. Among the cute selfies and adorable animals, she slipped in a naughty video of herself in the recording studio.
The video itself had no sound, but even without sound, fans were SUPER excited for his solo music to be released.

When will Jade Thirlwall’s first single be released?
Jade’s debut solo single, “Angel Of My Dreams,” will be released on Friday, July 19.
The song, described as a “shape-shifting banger”, explores her love/hate relationship with the pop industry she has been at the heart of since launching her former band Little Mix in 2011.
Jade has confirmed in the past that she is actively working on new music.

Who does Jade Thirlwall collaborate with on her solo music?
Jade co-wrote “Angel of My Dreams” in Los Angeles alongside Steph Jones, who worked on Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” Pablo Bowman (Calvin Harris’ “Miracle”) and producer Mike Sabbath who worked with RAYE.
The pop star began working on her solo career shortly after Little Mix’s hiatus, hosting studio sessions with collaborators including MNEK, Cirkut, Lostboy, RAYE, Lauren Aquilina and Dave Hamelin alongside Mike, Steph and Pablo.
