Summer Love Island returns to our screens in 2024 and we want to know; when does it start? Who is in the cast? And where is the villa this year?
We know, we know it’s like love island: All the stars I just finished and we’re already talking about summer The island of love? But what can I say, we never have enough.
Molly Smith and Tom Clare are the current winners in the villa, with her ex Callum Jones and Jess Gale coming second with just a fraction of the votes. The last season was a roller coaster of emotions and we want more!
With the weather soon to start getting warmer, everyone’s thinking about tans, ice packs and sexy people, right?
And on Tuesday April 30, ITV released the first love island teaser of the summer, promising: “We are about to bring the [fire]”.
So look no further, here is everything we know about the next summer season of love island 2024, from start date to villa locations to distribution.

When is summer love island Early 2024?
The 2024 summer season love island is set to begin on Monday June 3, although this start date has not been confirmed by ITV.
However, based on previous years, we can make a fairly accurate estimate for you all to put into your calendars.
Let’s go back a few years; the broadcast date for love island 2018 was Monday June 4. The broadcast date for love island 2019 was Monday June 3. The broadcast date for love island 2022 was Monday June 6 and the broadcast date of love island 2023 was Monday June 5.
Do you sense a trend here?
There was a slight deviation in 2021 when the series aired a little later than usual, on June 28, but let’s ignore that to support our hypothesis, which is that… Summer love island The 2024 start date is expected to be Monday, June 3.
Who is in the Love Island summer 2024 cast?
It’s a little too early to report the full cast of love island 2024, you greedy beavers! In fact, it’s so early that applications are still open to participate in the show itself.
But there is one name in the rumor list so far. This name is Gigi Simon, the daughter of Celebrity Big brother roommate Lauren Simon. She is 19 and would be “really excited” to be on the show.

Who organizes the summer love island 2024?
Maya Jama will return to host the summer season of love island in 2024, after starting the year with All the stars just a few months ago.
Maya is the new face of love island since Laura Whitmore stepped down in 2022.
Her bubbly personality and ability to playfully pat the housemates have been very enjoyable to watch so far, so it would be a shock and surprise if the show suddenly decided to replace her.
Talk to Vogue in January last year, Maya said: “I’ve been a fan of the show since the beginning…I know everything about it. My role is to provide information and facts but, because I love him so much, I just want to be their best friend and tell them, “Are you sure you really like this guy?”

Where is summer Love Island 2024 Villa?
Summer love island The 2024 location will most likely be Mallorca in Spain unless something changes.
The series has now filmed its two winter seasons in South Africa consecutively and all of its summer seasons have taken place in Majorca.
Just because the geographical location remains the same does not mean we will have the same old villa.
The series has swapped villas for us before and we wouldn’t be surprised if they do it again to cleanse the palace.
