Netflix fans are ‘obsessed’ with underrated crime dramas – and they can’t recommend it enough

We see your baby reindeer and Bridgerton and talk about the underrated crime drama The Rookie. It’s now on Netflix and fans are already “obsessed.”

There’s no two ways about it: Netflix is ​​having a really good year when it comes to binge-worthy TV shows. Baby Reindeer is breaking records like there’s no tomorrow and shows like Bridgerton aren’t far behind.

But these are not the titles that are currently popular with Netflix fans. They were replaced by The Rookie, a six-season crime series that just launched on the streaming service.

It’s been on ABC since 2018, but subscribers are enjoying it streaming — and they recommend you watch it.

Nolan is the main man in question, with the TV show following his move to Los Angeles in hopes of becoming a police officer. However, he encounters skepticism from all sides and faces many challenges along the way.

The series has been consistently praised for its entertaining comedy, seamless genre blending, and all-important classic detective series action.

There is a small problem that is frustrating fans: season 6 of The Rookie, recently broadcast, is not yet available on the platform. Fans can currently watch it on Hulu, while Netflix only offers seasons 1-5.

“S6 of The Rookie is not on Netflix? ” a fan complainedwhile another rang “Netflix should hurry up and drop season 6 of The Rookie.”

“I finished season 5 of The Rookie and found out season 6 isn’t on Netflix, what am I going to do with my life? The suspense is killing me”, a third tweeted.

Despite this, it’s not bad news for new fans of The Rookie, since season 7 is expected to be released soon. Unlike other similar series, there is currently only expected to be a six-month wait instead of years, even if it’s just a release. The January 2025 window has been confirmed.
