Nothing Phone 2a could get a new fourth colorway

TL;DR

  • A teaser from Flipkart indicates a new variant of Nothing Phone 2a launching on Monday.
  • The new variant is likely to be an India exclusive.
  • We’re not sure what the difference might be, but one leaker suggests it’s a new colorway.

Updated, April 27, 2024 (12:22 p.m. ET): We’ve updated the article below with more information. The article was previously based on a single tweet from leaker Yogesh Brar, but has now been fleshed out with Flipkart teaser information.

Original article, April 27, 2024 (11:11 a.m. ET): The Nothing Phone 2a is available worldwide, although in the US it doesn’t have the best carrier support. No matter where you live, phones are all the same.

Now, a teaser on Flipkart suggests that a new version of the Phone 2a could be here on Monday, April 29. The teaser doesn’t say much other than that there will be “a new edition” of the phone and the date and time (12:00 p.m.). PM, India Time).

Leak Yogesh Brar says it could be an exclusive new colorway. Brar doesn’t say what the color is.

If this rumor is true, the most logical color would be yellow to match the just-launched Nothing Ear A. Given that both devices have the “a” in their name, having a matching yellow phone would make a lot of sense. However, since the background of Flipkart’s teaser is blue, social media is buzzing that blue could be the new colorway. The blue background, however, is the standard workbench color and design, so it’s likely not representative of the phone’s appearance.

Either way, we only have a few more days to wait to see if this leak comes to fruition. If so, we hope that Phone 2a owners will not be disappointed and would like to be able to access this new variant, whatever it may be.
