This sinister Omen gaming PC release might just keep you up at night

PC building is more than just a means to an end. For some, it’s a complete hobby, and no more obvious than when PC builders get creative, with truly frightening results.

As pointed out PCGamesNA user on his PC building social media page has taken an Omen build to the next level with the new PowerColor Red Devil RX 7800 XT graphics card to great effect.

PC builder Marios Dalaïnos designed the rig around the new black and red mid-range graphics card with its brilliant red RGB giving it a possessed aesthetic. Plus, forget about a vertical GPU mount, this video card is suspended by asymmetrical chains and locked behind bars. Someone should call the Doom Slayer.

While the machine may look scary, its specs are pretty tame. Dalainos opted to run the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor with the aforementioned RX 7800

What’s more interesting is the construction process itself. Dalainos used modeling clay to create a grimy dungeon-like environment, but had to move quickly as he found that it dried quickly. However, most of the build time was spent positioning the GPU so that it showcased the design in all its glory.

It’s a machine you certainly don’t see every day and the perfect gaming PC to go through a series of Diablo 4, Eternal destiny, and the multitude of horror titles available on Steam; it’s perfect for late night gaming sessions, as long as it doesn’t give you nightmares.

A change from the standard-looking gaming PC

Although many of us enjoy assembling gaming PCs, a certain level of standardization has arisen, as most components today are a more uniform black than that subsidized by RGB lighting.

Builds like this custom design from Omen help bring a pop of color and a level of imagination that shows just how creative you can get with a little playdough, a paintbrush, and a few hours of free time.
