Why did Tyler Stanaland quit Sell the OC?
In October 2023, shortly before the Selling the Sunset The reunion episode was filmed, Tyler left the Oppenheim group.
In a statement to PEOPLETyler explained his departure: “Leaving the Oppenheim Group was not an easy decision, but it is the right decision for me and my clients. Not only am I joining my father and brother at Douglas Elliman, but I am aligning with a brand that has unparalleled reach and market presence with a renowned network of agents and industry leaders.
Tyler’s father and brother, John Stanaland and Trevor Stanaland, both appear briefly in Sell the OC season 3, episode 6. In their conversation, Tyler mentions wanting to build a successful business, but to do so he needs to get away from the drama surrounding Group O.
In his statement, Tyler also confirmed that he would be leaving the show: “Sell CO revolves around the agents of the Oppenheim group. Starting today, I will be working at Douglas Elliman.”
Tyler’s departure will likely be addressed in Season 4, and we’ll likely see Alex Hall’s reaction and the breakdown of their relationship, but he won’t be part of the cast.

Why did Sean Palmieri quit Sell the OC?
After being at the center of season 3’s explosive drama involving Austin Victoria and accusations of threesomes, swinging and flirting, Sean left the show and the Oppenheim Group.
In November 2023, after season 3 finished filming, Sean left the brokerage. Jason Oppenheim confirmed that it was his decision to leave and that he was not fired. In an interview with Us every weekJason said: “I can’t imagine that [the Austin drama] This has nothing to do with it, but I’m sure professionally he didn’t have much success. And then I think maybe that added to the frustration, but I don’t know. It’s a really strong question.”
After leaving the show, Sean said Entertainment tonight: “Unfortunately, the Oppenheim Group was not a culture that suited me.”
“I’m really excited about the future as I just signed on as a partner with an incredible, top-notch team and mentor, Steve Games, former owner of Prudential California Realty and Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty. Our team has just launched with Coldwell Banker West,” he added.

Why did Alexandra Jarvis quit Sell the OC?
The iconic Alexandra Jarvis is the newest cast member and agent to leave the show and the brokerage firm. In season 3, Jarvis found herself at odds with several of her colleagues after defending Sean against Austin and Tyler.
In an interview with PEOPLE in April 2024, Jarvis confirmed that she had left Group O “several months ago”. She explained: “Many factors influenced my decision. […] I don’t really know what to say about it, other than I just know when it’s time to leave a party.”
She also pointed out that “toxic culture” was the catalyst for her resignation.
Speaking to PEOPLE after his departure, Jason said: “I have a lot of respect for that. We’re still on good terms.” It’s unclear if Jarvis will appear in future seasons of the series under a different brokerage, but it’s unlikely.
Although she hasn’t revealed any career plans, she said she’s looking forward to spending more time with her husband, Sergio Ducoulombier: “I’m enjoying married life. [I’m] I’m just enjoying a little less stress, less drama, and a normal daily life. »
