Here’s why Travis Kelce isn’t at the Grammys with Taylor Swift

Is Travis Kelce going to the Grammys tonight? Here’s why he won’t be there with Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift is nominated for six awards at tonight’s (February 4) Grammys, including album of the year for Midnights. If she wins this award, she will make history as the first artist to win AOTY four times.

But if Taylor wins one of her categories at the 2024 ceremony, she unfortunately won’t be able to celebrate with her boyfriend Travis Kelce that night because he won’t be in attendance.

Last week, fans around the world watched Taylor join Travis on the field after the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC championship and advanced to the Super Bowl. Since September, she has attended 12 games to cheer on Travis. Travis also traveled to Argentina to see Taylor perform on her Eras tour.

While Swifties were hoping the couple would make their Grammys red carpet debut, Travis has already confirmed he won’t be there that night, ending any speculation as to why.

So why isn’t Travis Kelce going to the Grammys with Taylor Swift? He can’t travel because he’s training with his team for the Super Bowl next Sunday (February 11).

Talk about The Pat McAfee Show, Travis explained how much he appreciated Taylor’s support during his matches.: “I love when Taylor comes to support me and enjoys the game with family and friends. It’s just been a wonderful year, man.”

He then explained why he won’t be able to join her at the Grammys: “I would love to be able to support Taylor at the Grammys and see her win every award she’s nominated for, but…unfortunately, I have to get ready for this big old Super Bowl and we have a week.”

Besides the Grammys, Taylor has a very busy few weeks ahead of her.

Due to her Eras tour of Japan resuming on February 7, Taylor is unable to perform during the ceremony as she must leave the United States as soon as possible to travel to Tokyo.

She will perform four shows in the city, before returning to Las Vegas to see Travis and the Chiefs play in the Super Bowl. After that, she will have a few days off before having to fly to Melbourne to begin the Australian leg of the Eras Tour.

Don’t worry, Swifties, it won’t be long before the couple makes their red carpet debut!
