Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Star Ben Schwartz promises a satisfying entrance for Shadow (Keanu Reeves) in the film. The film is the third part of the Sonic the Hedgehog film series and is based on Sega’s video game franchise of the same name. In the games, Shadow is Sonic’s nemesis, building anticipation for the iconic villain’s long-awaited entry into the film series. Anticipation was further heightened when it was announced that Reeves had signed on to voice the character. Now, Schwartz is promoting Shadow even more and promising that his entrance will be everything viewers hope for.

In an interview with Rant screenSchwartz teased the “gratifying” nature of Shadow’s arrival in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Schwartz, who plays Sonic, said he loved Shadow’s entrance in the new film.. He acknowledged that the film embodies one of the biggest characters in the franchise, but that he was doing it to demonstrate to fans that he cares and understands them. Well, I think it’s also exciting for me to be able to introduce another character from the video games. For me, it’s rewarding and charming, and also, Shadow, for me – people have rankings of their favorite Sonic characters, but for me, I think we hit all the A-sides. We have all the big hits, like all of them are just amazing, and these are characters that you could play as in different games. So it’s quite remarkable.

I love the intro of him in this movie and I think the fans are going to be excited. And I think the fans understand how much we care, think about how much we’ve changed the movie since the response to the first trailer, which I think was the really good decision. I think the fans will feel like we’re taking care of them, hopefully, because we always do it for them, and it hasn’t failed yet. We can do a third, there’s a spin-off, so the idea that we’re still doing this, man, you think about where we started and where we are right now, it’s pretty remarkable. So we’re very excited.

Schwartz’s tease of Shadow’s epic entrance into Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is quite interesting, given that details about the antagonist are quite sparse. This will be the first film to include Shadow in a leading role, although the character was first teased in Sonic the Hedgehog 2the mid-credits scene. It shows the research facility housing “Project Shadow” before getting a brief glimpse of Shadow himself. The villain’s non-speaking cameo set the stage for him to become the main antagonist of the upcoming film.

After confirmation of Shadow’s appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the production has remained largely silent on the nature of his role. However, last month it was finally confirmed that Keanu Reeves would voice the character. The casting of such a high-profile Hollywood star suggested that the villain would play a major role in the new film. and may even set him up to appear in future films or his own spin-off, similar to joins series. At the same time, it was also confirmed that the film‘s story would be based on Sonic Adventure 2.

Since the next film will extract elements from the video game, it is believed that the film will focus on Shadow’s origin story, including his creation by Dr. Robotnik and his close connection to Robotnik’s granddaughter, Maria. However, joins included a reference to Shadow, which suggested the character was on Earth 50 years ago. The timeline does not match the video games’ backstory, suggesting that elements of his original story could be retconned.
