Next Battlefield is ‘another great live game,’ says EA CEO

According to Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, the next major project Battlefield the game is “another terrific live service title”.

As reported VGCDuring the company’s quarterly earnings conference call on May 7, Wilson said he was recently able to experience the next Battlefield game currently in development at EA DICE and is excited about what he has seen and played.

There is no news on when we can expect the next major title, but Wilson was able to confirm later during the results conference call that it will be another service game in direct, suggesting that it might look a lot like Battleground 2042 and its ongoing post-launch content.

Additionally, EA also confirmed in the earnings report that it plans to release two unannounced titles during its current fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
