The OnePlus Watch 2 is just days away from its launch on February 26, 2024. As expected, the device was dropped by the FCC before its release. This FCC filing, however, reveals some interesting new details about the smartwatch.

In the FCC Registration, we see the model number OPWWE231, confirming that this is the OnePlus-branded global variant. We first discovered this model number in October last year via a leak. Along with the model number, we learn that OnePlus’ upcoming laptop will sport a 500mAh battery.

The list also includes design diagrams for the smart watch, like the one below. Here we see that the device has pins for connecting to a charger.

However, the most interesting revelation concerns the connectivity information. The filing lists support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, as well as Bluetooth and NFC. But there is no mention of LTE support anywhere. This suggests that there may not be an LTE-enabled version of the device.

OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus Watch 2 at MWC Barcelona. The smartwatch will be available in Black Steel and Radiant Steel (green) colors and is said to offer up to 100 hours of battery life when Smart mode is activated.
