Stellar Blade, ShiftUp’s flashy action game, won’t officially release until the end of April, but eager players will be able to get their hands on the game as early as this week. Free demo hits PlayStation Store this Friday March 29 and will plunge the players head first into the opening moments of the match. game director Hyung Tae Kim gave a more in-depth explanation on the PlayStation Blog. He writes: “This first step will include the tutorial phase to help familiarize you with basic combat features while exploring post-war Eidos 7, a human city now infested by the Naytiba, giving you an initial understanding of the game mechanics that will serve you. you throughout the game‘s story.”
Stellar Blade had been quietly in development for the past few years (initially known as Project EVE) before its in-depth presentation at January’s State of Play event. The game follows Eve, the wielder of the titular Stellar Blade, as she returns to Earth to save people from attacks by aliens and robots. Stellar Blade is a PS5 exclusive launching on April 26. Its demo will launch on March 29 at 7 a.m. PDT / 2 p.m. GMT.
