Microsoft and Amazon have announced that the Xbox app is coming to Amazon Fire TV next month.
Starting in July, this collaboration also means that the Xbox game Ultimate Pass library of games will be available on select TVs equipped with a compatible Fire TV Stick and a Bluetooth-enabled controller.
Users will have access to hundreds of cloud-enabled games directly through the Xbox app on select Fire TV devices, no console required, like Bethesda’s latest space role-playing game Star Fieldas well as other titles like To fall 4, Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2and much more.

To get started, users will need a Fire TV Stick 4K Max or Fire TV Stick 4K. You can then download the Xbox app onto your Fire TV device via the Amazon App Store. Once setup is complete, you’ll be able to sign in with your Microsoft account and, if you’re already a member, you’ll have instant access to stream and play all the games featured in the game Pass Ultimate library.
When it comes to connecting a Bluetooth controller, you can choose from a range of options, including the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, DualSense Wireless Controller, or DualShock 4.
Earlier this month, Amazon expanded the availability of its Amazon Luna cloud gaming platform to three additional countries, including Austria, the Netherlands and Poland, allowing users in these countries to experience a wide selection of games available.
Amazon has also partnered with the GOG game Store to offer over 40 titles playable on Luna via the cloud, such as the hugely popular Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight, And Cutting head.
