Zendaya vs. the Dune: The Popcorn Bucket Part 2 is the funniest beef of 2024 so far.

Would you like to put your hand into the forbidden Dune: part two a popcorn bucket?

Zendaya has now made it known that she won’t eat her movie snacks out of the bucket, and she hilariously dragged the viral product in the process.

In case you haven’t seen it, AMC Theaters released a special edition bucket of popcorn in honor of the film‘s release, starring Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler and Florence Pugh.

The bucket comes with a lid meant to resemble the iconic Dune sandworms, but it all ended up being roasted on social media because, well, people think it looks a little weird and…inappropriate.

The “Sandworm” lid reflects the strange fleshy appearance and texture of the Sandworms in the film, and even includes a small opening lined with “teeth.”

Many jokes have already been made about how the bucket actually looks like a sex toy, and some moviegoers have flatly refused to buy one.

Now the talk has reached the cast of Dune and they gave their opinions on how they felt about it all. It looks like Zendaya is firmly on the side of “no” when it comes to what she’ll eat popcorn with.

Speaking to ET, she said: “It’s weird […] But from a purely food point of view, from a popcorn consumption point of view, you can’t get anything out of it! »

“He takes the popcorn out of your hand before you take it out. You go in, you grab a handful, and by the time you take it out, there’s nothing in your hand!” she continued.

Even though she’s not a fan, Zendaya and Florence agree that he’s “genius” from a marketing standpoint, because everyone we are talking about it !

Florence also saw an absolutely incredible glimmer of hope: you can take it on fairground rides because the popcorn won’t fall out.

But even after this positive outlook, it’s still a big no from Zendaya.
