Sony revealed that pre-orders are now live for his next Astrobot platform game currently scheduled to launch on September 6. Three versions of the game are available, each offering their own pre-order bonuses.

The first of the three – and the only version available physically – is the standard physical edition. This comes with a pretty cool double-sided poster, as well as a PaRapper the rapper “Lovestruck Lyricist” outfit for the titular hero, a “Glorious Graffiti” skin for the Dual Speeder glider game, and two PlayStation Network account avatars.

Meanwhile, the standard digital edition contains the same bonuses as its physical counterpart, without the poster for obvious reasons. Also note that these pre-order cosmetic products will not be available at the very start of the game. A still undetermined number of progress must be made in the game before accessing them. Although it is likely that they will be available very soon.

Finally, there’s the Digital Deluxe Edition, which contains even more cosmetic outfits and ancillary goodies. This pack includes the Parappa outfit, as well as a golden outfit and a Bloodborne-“Yharnam Hunter” inspired outfit. Hey, if we don’t get a remaster, this must be the next best thing. Probably. There are also a few additional colors for the Dual Speeder Glider.

The Digital Deluxe Edition also contains the game‘s original soundtrack, a digital art gallery, and 12 PlayStation Network account avatars based on various Sony-owned properties.

While these treats definitely scream nostalgia, they at least aren’t too out of place. Part of the appeal of Astrobot The series is its respect for the PlayStation brand and its 30 years of history.
