Homelander Does Gory Justice in His Mortal Kombat 1 Gameplay Trailer

Mortal Kombat 1’s next super-powered guest fighter, The boys‘Homelander, shows his dominance in new gameplay trailer. The less-than-heroic superhero will be available to Kombat Pack owners on June 4 and to everyone else on June 11.

The patriotic and maniacal leader of the Seven gives no quarter to his new MK adversaries, annihilating them with an offensive style very reminiscent of Superman’s playstyle in the Injustice series. The trailer also introduces new DLC fighter Kameo Ferra, the smaller, wilder half of Mortal Kombat X’s Ferra & Torr team, who also joins the game in June.

Homelander joins Peacemaker, InvincibleOmni-Man, Ermac, Quan-Chi, and the upcoming Takeda in the Year 1 DLC slate. Mortal Kombat 1 also has a story expansion in the works, but it’s still unclear what that will entail or when it will arrive.
