It’s a decent way to make money early in the game, especially if you maximize your score with cheats, power-ups, and speed, but it’s not as lucrative as you might think at first. Even though you see a huge total of money accumulating as you play, that’s not actually the amount you stand to win. Instead, your total earnings are converted into points that you can redeem for $10 items or cash for 2,000 points.

The sub-stories are not only entertaining, but fast-paced and often reward you with a good amount of money in addition to unique gear. It’s not exactly exploitable, as you’ll eventually run out of understory, but it’s good for a quick cash infusion when you need it. You can automatically equip the best gear, but you need to make sure to specifically sell old gear at pawn shops.
